Do you have a property in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy or New England (USA) which you are interested in letting to holidaymakers? Then we would like to hear from you!
Individual Travellers Company is a long-established holiday specialist with three decades of experience in the letting of quality self-catering accommodation. We are financially bonded with the Federation of Tour Operators (FTO) and hold an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL).
Over the years we have found that our clients have become progressively more discerning in their holiday requirements and so we select cottages, houses, villas and apartments that we feel will offer our clients a comfortable, attractive and well equipped place to stay. Our aim is to offer a wide choice of quality accommodation in a great variety of locations, both rural and coastal, to suit the holiday needs of couples, families and large groups alike.
Having selected these properties, we feature them in sophisticated brochures and on this easy-to-use website, both of which are seen by thousands of people, including our vast database of previous clients. We also have representatives in a large number of countries, including Australia, the USA, Canada, and many European countries who act as agents for us and promote our properties within their own country, so our clientele is by no means restricted to the UK.

What We Can Do For You
First of all, we do provide a fully integrated marketing service but our role does not stop there. We also handle your bookings for you which means that we take the initial phone calls, deal with any client queries, make travel arrangements, handle the payments and send out all the paperwork to ensure that our clients get to your property without difficulty.
Once you have decided to let your property through us, you can leave us to handle the administration; all you need to do is cash your rental payments (paid according to a pre-agreed contract schedule). Of course, we will always keep you fully informed about your bookings and any changes that may occur (arrival times, number in party etc) so that you can ensure your house is properly prepared and the keys are ready for collection.

What You Need to Do
With the administration side of things out of the way, you must ensure that your house is fully maintained, thoroughly cleaned between each rental and regularly checked to ensure that all the equipment is in full working order. Our representatives will visit your property from time to time and liaise with you to ensure that these standards are maintained. If you do not live on site, then you will need to find a responsible person who lives nearby and can ensure that any problems occurring at your house can be quickly rectified. You also need someone (usually the same person) who will be there to look after the keys and have them ready for collection when holidaymakers arrive.

Many of the properties in our brochures have been with us for many years and over those years we have built up a friendly working relationship with their owners. Staff in our Owner Services team, as well as our overseas representatives, get to know our property owners very well and liaise with them on a regular basis. It is our common goal to let your house to its maximum potential and we endeavour to do everything possible to achieve this aim.

What To Do Next
If you would like us to promote your property for you, please complete the Information Sheet and send it back to us as soon as possible. We can then arrange for one of our overseas representatives to meet you at the house to inspect it and go through everything with you in detail.
Please note that once your property is contracted with us, it can go on our website very quickly, but for inclusion in our brochures, the property has to be inspected by our representative before the end of May at the latest.
